Flagstaff Biking Organization will be hiring a professional mountain bike trail contractor, Momentum Trail Concepts, to construct trails to improve upon the original Reserves trails.

After two decades of advocacy and planning, we’re finally primed and ready to build some world-class downhill trails for mountain biking in Flagstaff!

Flagstaff Biking Organization will be hiring a professional mountain bike trail contractor, Momentum Trail Concepts, to construct trails to improve upon the original Reserves trails. This will be done under our Challenge Cost Share Agreement with the U.S. Forest Service – Coconino National Forest.

The entire project is expected to cost approximately $400,000. In order to tackle a slightly more bite-sized chunk, we have split this into two Phases. The first Phase is expected to cost approximately $240,000. We are currently fundraising for Phase 1.

We have set up a donor program to hopefully motivate folks to step up in a big way. We are hoping you’ll consider donating on a scale that is commensurate with your commitment to riding. We’ve all spent thousands on our bikes. We will spend thousands to travel to other world-class destinations to ride the trails there. Some of us will spend hundreds every year on a ski pass.

We are asking for you to donate at least a few hundred dollars toward this effort to build trails in Flagstaff that you can ride for free forever. Maybe host a ride or party and get your riding buddies to chip in as well. Donors of $500 or more get a limited edition custom t-shirt, and donors of $1000 or more will get a limited edition riding jersey.
